The Vietnam – Asia Smart City Summit is a national and international event organized annually by VINASA since 2017. The summit aims to share visions, strategies, and experiences in building smart cities in Vietnam and to learn from international experiences. It focuses on gathering smart city development initiatives based on Vietnam’s practical conditions, enhancing the quality of life for citizens, and offering solutions for urban management, planning, and development by applying new technological platforms.

The Vietnam – Asia Smart City Summit 2024, with the theme “Smart City – Digital Economy – Sustainable Development,” is expected to attract over 2000 delegates over two days. Attendees will include senior leaders from the Government, ministries, central and local agencies; leaders of corporations, large enterprises, and organizations in major industries such as Energy, Construction, Real Estate; top leaders from leading domestic IT corporations; international businesses and organizations; research units; experts; and media agencies. The summit aims to promote cooperation in building and developing smart cities across Vietnam’s provinces and cities, and to connect and foster digital transformation cooperation for provinces, cities, enterprises, and domestic organizations.

The summit will feature themed seminars, exhibitions showcasing achievements and solutions in digital transformation and smart city development, and business matching and cooperation activities. The specific themes include:

• Seminar 2: Solutions to boost the Digital Economy and Sustainable Development
• Seminar 3: Semiconductor Industry Strategy: A New Driver for Hanoi and Vietnam
• Seminar 4: Smart Homes for Health and Utilities
• Seminar 5: Green and Smart Mobility for Smart Cities and Sustainable Development
• Seminar 6: NetZero – Environment and Energy Towards a Zero-Emission City by 2050
• Seminar 7: Advanced Digital Services /Introduction Outstanding Technology Solutions for Promoting Green and Smart Cities
